No, I do not believe the Assemblies of God should change the name of the denomination which it has had for many years. I mean, after all, our heritage goes back to the early 20th century. Also, when my was daughter was attending a Nazarene university, my husband and I went there one night to see a concert. While waiting to enter the auditorium, I began talking to a man who said he had a son attending there also. I asked about his church and he asked about mine. When I told him I attended an A/G church, his comment was, "I don't know how your denomination does it, but do you realize yours is the fastest growing in the world?" Now that was his statement-not mine-but I do agree with him. So, please even though we are in the 21st century, let's not change our denomination's name. We are recognized for who and what we believe. Praise God!

Love the post on Answers. You're exactly right Ken. There's nothing wrong being A/G and there's definitely nothing wrong being Pentecostal!
