Just over two years ago the Pentecostal Evangel introduced special subscription pricing for past and present members of the United States military. In addition, the magazine reinstated subscription discounts for readers 60 years and older. Both arrangements have been well-received by Evangel readers.
An Evangel military subscription is only $14.49 annually (52 issues) or $28 for two years (104 issues) mailed to the U.S. address of any veteran or active duty service member. A weekly Evangel subscription can offer encouragement and spiritual guidance to someone who may currently be in harm’s way or has experienced the trauma of combat.
Military subscriptions can be purchased as either a gift or for oneself. The recipient’s current or former service branch is required when the order is placed by calling Gospel Publishing House at 1-800-641-4310 and specifying subscription code LM.
A printable order form is available on the Evangel website. Just click “Subscribe to the Pentecostal Evangel” on the right side of the home page. Select “Special Offers” near the top left, then choose “Military Subscription Program.”
The Evangel senior citizen rate can also be requested as a personal or gift subscription as long as the recipient is 60 or older. Code LS should be used when ordering with GPH at 1-800-641-4310. As with the military option, an order form is available for senior subscriptions at pe.ag.org by following the steps given above with the exception of selecting “Senior Discount” in place of “Military Subscription.”
A domestic senior citizen subscription is only $18.99 for one year or $30 for two. Seniors living outside the U.S. may receive the Evangel for just $42 annually. International customers can reach GPH at 011-01-417-831-8000 or use the printable form.
Subscriptions can be ordered by phone from 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. (CDT), Monday through Friday. The military and senior citizen pricing is only good on new or renewable orders, as neither discount can be applied retroactively to any current subscription.
