Churches wanting extra copies of the Pentecostal Evangel due to anticipated increased attendance for their Passion Week services, may now place bulk orders for the Palm Sunday (April 17) and Easter (April 24) issues. A copy of the Evangel is a great keepsake and ministry tool for any unbeliever or nominal Christian visiting an Assemblies of God church during the Easter season.
“Palm Sunday’s Window: Discovering the world, life and faith of Jesus” is the cover story of the April 17 edition. Other related articles include “Passover Still Points to the Savior” and “Why Not Acts?” The latter piece builds on the final promise of Jesus to His disciples and how the Book of Acts can enlighten the new believer.
“The Cross: Where Death and Sin Are Conquered” headlines the Resurrection Sunday issue of April 24. In his article, Evangel Editor Ken Horn encourages believers “to live where the cross is vacant and the tomb is empty.” Assemblies of God General Secretary James T. Bradford also discusses the resurrected life, inviting readers to take the “journey from working for God to letting Jesus work through them.”
Bulk orders for the April 17 (#69-7116) and April 24 (#69-7117) issues of the Evangel can be made by calling Gospel Publishing House Customer Relations at 1-800-641-4310. The cost is only 25 cents per copy when 50 or more total magazines are ordered. While supplies last, any order of at least 400 total copies qualifies for free customized imprinting on the back of each issue. Quantities of 49 or less are 50 cents per copy.
