Evangel to include young audience
By Ron Kopczick | October 17, 2008
Today’s Pentecostal Evangel annual Kids’ Edition remains one of the magazine’s most popular issues. Children’s pastors order hundreds of extra copies for community outreach and fall festivals, and families enjoy the biblical truths and variety of activities. One drawback — it only comes out once a year.
But there is good news. Beginning in January, the Evangel will include “TPE Kids” in three issues every month. Boys and girls will enjoy a page of themed Bible studies, weird factoids, online resources, and a Holsom comic strip from Gospel Publishing House. Young readers will have a chance to contribute their art and ideas to the page.
Don’t miss TPE Kids. Children, grandkids or neighborhood youngsters can all benefit from this great outreach tool. Keep in mind the boys and girls in your church the next time you order TPE for your congregation. Meanwhile, copies of the Oct. 12 Kids’ Edition are still available by calling GPH at 1-800-641-4310 or visiting www.tpe.ag.org.
